45. Innis and Gunn (Scotland)

Have I finally found a beer that Ani likes. I think so. What makes this beer remarkable is it was partially aged in oak casks that are usually used for making malt whiskey. The taste was very nutty, almost smoky. It is like a meal, because it is very full bodied and each sip was a different experience. It is a good novelty beer, but i couldn't see drinking Innis and Gunn as a regular every day type of thing. I kind of think that it is the kind of beer that you drink while your in a remote cabin, it's snowing outside and your chilling perhaps grilling some steaks.
